Bill Laimbeer, Dennis Rodman, and Bruce Bowen. These are just some of the names of players that fans of opposing teams simply love to hate. Today, their tradition stands true by way of the Golden State Warriors' Draymond Green.

Green seems like an anomaly. He's undersized yet he manages to carom rebounds as if he's two or three inches taller. He's a big man yet he leads the Warriors in assists per game. He's not joining any 3-point contests anytime soon but teams pay when leaving him open beyond the arc.

There are so many things that Green has managed to defy. That, along with his loud mouth and non-wavering intensity, has led to non-Warriors fans disliking him a lot. In speaking with the media following Golden State's 118-92 win over the New Orleans Pelicans in Game 3, the All-Star forward talked about the jeers that he receives wherever he goes.

“I get booed everywhere I go.”

“I appreciate them booing me. That's some deep love they got for me if you're going to risk losing your voice.”

Similar to what he has done throughout his journey to his current status, Green is used to overcoming adversity and the fans' boos are too little of a distraction to get him off his game. He even welcomes it and admits to thriving whenever he catches everyone's ire.

The Warriors are one game away from advancing to the Western Conference Finals where, as the ante gets higher, the heckling becomes more intense. Green won't shy away, though, as if leaving an open invitation for fans to give their best in trying to affect his mental fortitude.
