Draymond Green had some words of praise for his teammate Kevin Durant, as the former four-time scoring champion has carried the bulk of the offensive load since he and Stephen Curry have missed the majority of the last 12 games. The Golden State Warriors forward has put up consecutive outings of 44, 49, and now a 51-point clinic on the Toronto Raptors, which resulted in an overtime loss.
Draymond Green expressed admiration for his teammate, knowing the effort he's put forward with the Warriors short-handed through this early stretch of the season.

And doing it in KD fashion: efficient, within the game,” said Draymond Green, according to ESPN's Nick Friedell. “It's been really special to watch and comes at a much needed time for us.”
The Warriors managed to take a peaking Raptors team to a close overtime battle, even without Curry and Green in the lineup, proving their firepower can reach immeasurable limits when in full health.
Curry is expected to return on Saturday against the Detroit Pistons, while Green could return at the tail end of the road trip, perhaps in the middle of next week against the Cleveland Cavaliers or next Friday against the Milwaukee Bucks, after missing the home end of the matchup with the same lingering toe injury.
Kevin Durant has been a human torch in the last few games, climbing up the scoring list, now second in the league with a 30.1 points per game scoring average, second only to former teammate James Harden (31.1).
