Golden State Warriors superstar Draymond Green left the game Monday night against the Memphis Grizzlies due to a foot injury. The Warriors are calling it a right foot contusion.

Green is the staple of the Warriors' defense and it could hurt them if Green is out for a long period of time. Fortunately, X-rays on Green's foot turned out negative, per Anthony Slater of The Athletic.

The Warriors treaded some rough waters after he went out due to the injury, but they dominated the Grizzlies once they got their game going.

Draymond Green, so far this season, is averaging 8.4 points, 8.5 assists, 7.5 rebounds, two steals, and a little less than a block per game. He is shooting 48.5 percent from the field and 26.1 percent from 3-point distance.

Green only played 13 minutes Monday night before leaving the game. He made little impact for the Warriors in the short minutes he played. He collected four rebounds, two assists, and one block.

Golden State, besides a few hiccups after Green went down due to the injury, had no issues beating the Grizzlies.

Draymond Green doesn't appear to be headed for a string of games missed. But the defending champions could take this as an opportunity to rest their star until he's fully healed, thanks to their abundance of firepower.
