Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green was in full support for Jayson Tatum as he powered his Boston Celtics squad to an impressive come-from-behind win over the San Antonio Spurs. Green then gave a shoutout to Tatum on Twitter after witnessing him explode for a career-high 60 points on Friday night.

On the floor, the Spurs were poised to run away with an easy win after an impressive showing in the first half of the game. However, the Celtics refused to go down without a fight as they fought back and put up a 42-point explosion in the third quarter. Head coach Brad Stevens and his squad continued to put their foot on the pedal in the final frame as they extended the game to overtime.

Eager to grab the win, the Celtics finally put the nail in the coffin as they executed better than their opponents in the extra period to complete a 32-point comeback. Boston ultimately ran away with a 143-140 victory to improve to a 34-30 record for the sixth spot in the Eastern Conference. The impressive win didn't only benefit the Celtics, but it also favored the Warriors who are currently finding themselves at the 10th spot of the Western Conference with a 31-32 record. The triumph pulled the Dubs closer to the Spurs who are only a game ahead with a 31-31 tally for the ninth seed.

With less than 10 games left to play in the regular season, the Warriors can still overtake the Spurs and jockey for a better position in their coming games as they are expected to participate in the play-in tournament for the playoffs. Moving up to the ninth seed will guarantee a home-court advantage for the squad that will fight for a chance at a playoff spot against the 10th seeded team.

Draymond Green will definitely owe Jayson Tatum if the Warriors manage to sneak in the playoffs thanks to his 60-point explosion against the Spurs.
