Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green suffered a left ankle sprain on Saturday night's match-up against the Houston Rockets. Apparently, according to Green, the injury was a re-aggravation as he already sprained his ankle earlier in the contest, per Marcus Thompson of The Athletic.

Green writhed in pain after jamming his ankle on the foot of teammate DeMarcus Cousins in the fourth quarter. He finished his night with four points, four rebounds, and three assists in 24 minutes.
There are still no updates on the severity of the injury or how long Green will be sidelined with the ankle issue. However, head coach Steve Kerr doesn't think the injury isn't too serious.
Given Green's injury history, the Dubs may want to err on the side of caution and hold out their defensive anchor until the ankle heals completely. In fact, as Kevin Durant said, the only thing that matters for this squad is for them to be healthy and ready for the playoffs.

The Dubs lost to the Rockets for the third straight time, and are now 0-3 against their Western Conference rivals this season. Moreover, the Rockets shockingly defeated the defending champions, 118-112, even if they were without reigning MVP and scoring leader James Harden.
Chris Paul played magnificently, as he scored 23 points and dished out a season-high 17 assists. Eric Gordon top-scored for Houston with 25 points, going 8-for-20 from the field and 4-for-10 from deep.
There is no doubt that the Warriors are still the heavy favorites to win a third straight NBA championship this season. However, the Rockets shouldn't be taken too lightly considering that they have had the Warriors' number this season so far.
We all know what happened in last year's playoffs. These two teams went on a seven-game bloodbath for the right to advance to the Finals. With the Rockets having a major chip on their shoulder and looking to exact revenge, it should be on fans' wish list that these Western Conference powerhouses meet again in this year's post-season.
