Sometimes Halloween nights are unforgettable, other times all you want to do is forget them. For Golden State Warriors All-Star forward Draymond Green, All Hallow's Eve 2019 was the former, as he explained his experience traversing the San Francisco trick-or-treating scene with his kids and fiancée.

Per The Athletic's Anthony Slater on Twitter:

“I went trick or treating with my kids, my fiancée — pure madness, it was great though. We were in San Francisco, and it had to be some of the best trick or treating I've ever seen. The homes — the decorations were absurd — everybody participated. And it was like full candy stores over there … they got actual bars of Snickers, Reese's, Starbursts, Twix … they're big on [Toblerone's] over there,” Green shared.

“A little disappointing that my kids didn't really understand what they were — five and two — they don't really get it. My daughter gets it, but DJ (Draymond Jr.) on the other hand — pickiest kid you ever met in your life.”

With little competitive spirit in the air for the 1-3 Warriors — who lost two-time NBA MVP point guard Stephen Curry for three months to a broken hand this week — the 29-year-old former Defensive Player of the Year was able to ramble about his Halloween instead of mostly focusing on Golden State's upcoming Friday night matchup with the San Antonio Spurs.

Green went on to tell reporters that his son, Draymond Jr., was complimented by the San Francisco residents giving out candy due to his costume resembling Nickelodeon's children's animated program “Paw Patrol.”

Further, Green's young son was slow to choosing which candies the friendly neighborhood homes were giving out and didn't understand the good fortune of a generous neighborhood. Finally, Green expressed an appreciation for the experience and new living situation.
