Kavion, the nephew of NBA Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen, was brought in by the Warriors. While terms of the deal are not disclosed, it is expected to be a non-guaranteed deal as the 22-year-old undrafted center will only serve as stopgap until their roster gets healthy.

On the other hand, rookie Alen Smailagic is reportedly out for the “foreseeable future” after rolling his ankle.
Kavion Pippen is a 6-foot-10 center that should fit in nicely with the Warriors' system. He spent two years at Southern Illinois before going undrafted in the 2019 Draft. He averaged 12.8 points,5.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 2.0 blocks in his final year of college basketball.
