The Golden State Warriors have had a really impressive season and they look to be a serious contender to win another NBA title, but on Friday night, they will be the underdogs against the Portland Trail Blazers, something they haven't been all year.

The Warriors are extremely shorthanded coming into this game which could account for why they are underdogs. According to the Warriors PR Twitter account:

Injury report for tonight's game at Portland: Jordan Bell (right ankle sprain), Stephen Curry (tweaked right ankle), Andre Iguodala (left wrist sprain), Patrick McCaw (non-displaced fracture, left wrist) & David West (right arm cyst) are out.

The Warriors were without Curry for most of Thursday night's game against the San Antonio Spurs and they really struggled for three quarters. But Kevin Durant took over in the fourth quarter scoring 15 points in the final seven minutes to will the Warriors to a three-point win.

So not only will the Warriors be without Curry, they will also be on the second night of a back-to-back so their legs will be tired.

The Trail Blazers had their last game on Tuesday night when they dominated the New York Knicks on their homecourt. They are riding an eight-game winning streak coming into this game and they also have a lot fresher legs.

The Warriors are going to have their hands full in this game, and it's a big one as they try to keep up with the Houston Rockets who currently sit in first place in the Western Conference standings.
