The Golden State Warriors have just released a preview of the updated team logo which they intend to launch next season. The slightly revised logo features some very minor updates, which actually had to be pointed out by the organization's creative team.

To be honest, the change is barely noticeable, and perhaps not too many people would have realized that a couple of revisions had been made sans the explanation.

However, a few keyboard warriors felt obliged to give their take on the new logo via the post's comments section. The observation that stood out was perhaps how some critics were sending out congratulatory tweets towards the Warriors for finally deciding to use a customized font for their logo, as opposed to utilizing a default font from Microsoft Word (it was Copperlate Gothic, FYI).
All jokes aside, though, the Warriors will be hoping that they unveil this updated logo next season as the league's defending three-peat champions. At the moment, this is not going to be an easy task in any way, with the Dubs still trailing the Toronto Raptors 3-2 in the Finals.
Nonetheless, Game 6 shifts back to Oakland in what will be Golden State's final game in Oracle Arena, in anticipation of their move to the newly-constructed Chase Center next season. This should be an emotional evening for the team and its supporters, and the Warriors ought to ride this very wave of emotion to help them force a pivotal Game 7.
