Golden State Warriors superstar small forward Kevin Durant is now one of four players in NBA history to average at least 40 points, five rebounds and five assists over a five-game span in a single postseason.
The other three players who have accomplished this feat are Jerry West, Michael Jordan and LeBron James.
Kevin Durant is averaging 40.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game over his last five games. The only other players in NBA history to average at least 40/5/5 over a five-game span in a single postseason are Jerry West, Michael Jordan, and LeBron James.

Over his last five games, Durant has been a monster for the Warriors. The former MVP is averaging 40.2 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.6 assists while shooting 54.5 percent from the field, 40.0 percent from beyond the arc and 91.1 percent from the free-throw line.
The Warriors are 4-1 during this stretch where Durant is just dominating. KD just continues to show that he's going to go down as one of the greatest offensive weapons in NBA history. When it's all said and done, Durant has a good shot at passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on the NBA's all-time scoring list if he plays long enough.
Durant has career postseason averages of 29.1 points per game. When the stage gets brighter, KD takes his game to another level. At some point, we are going to need to have a discussion about how the Warriors needed Durant more than KD needed them when he signed with Golden State back in the summer of 2016.
