Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant feels like his team is picking up wins due to their mental approach during games.

The Warriors earned a 132-109 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Monday, with Durant and company pulling away in the third quarter after the lead was cut to 10 points.

Stephen Curry led the way for Golden State with 34 points and nine rebounds, while Durant added 25 points on 8-of-14 shooting.

How were the Warriors able to take care of business and secure another win? Durant thinks it had a lot to do with their minds.

“I thought we slowed them down and we beat them with our minds instead of just outrunning them,” Durant said. “Our offense and our talent just take over and we just made shots.”

Durant is now averaging 28.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 6.2 assists per game while shooting 50.6 percent from the floor.

As for the Warriors, they've grabbed back-to-back wins after losing two straight home games to the Los Angeles Lakers and Portland Trail Blazers, so perhaps Durant and company are about to put together yet another impressive string of victories.

Golden State will play three of its next four games at Oracle Arena, where it has certainly had some surprising struggles this season.

Next up is a home matchup with the Houston Rockets on Thursday night before hitting the road Saturday to take on the Sacramento Kings.
