Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr told reporters on Tuesday star small forward Kevin Durant is starting to do more in his rehab work.
The Warriors have already ruled Durant out for Game 3 of the Finals, but it looks like there's a chance KD could play in Game 4 if he gets cleared to practice before then.
Kerr noted that Durant is starting to do a little more in his rehab. If he gets cleared for practice on Thursday, Game 4 remains a possibility on Friday night.

Kerr says KD is going to the Warriors practice facility to get some work in later today. Kerr says he’s ‘improving’ but didn’t participate in practice today.

Because he's injured, Durant is not required to speak to the media. The two-time Finals MVP watched Games 1 and 2 up in Toronto in the Warriors' locker room. KD greeted his teammates after both games in the hallway.

The Warriors and Raptors are tied at 1-1. Golden State took home court advantage away from Toronto by winning Game 2.
Durant was averaging 34.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.9 assists in the 2019 playoffs before he got hurt in Game 5 of the second round versus the Houston Rockets. KD was shooting 51.3 percent from the field, 41.6 percent from beyond the arc and 90.1 percent from the free-throw line.
The Warriors are anxiously waiting for Durant to return. The Dubs can probably still win the series without him, but it's always nice to have that security blanket.
Game 4 of the Finals is on Friday. If Durant can practice on Thursday, we may see him out there for Game 4.
