Last week, Nike released the latest pair of sneakers for Golden State Warriors star forward Kevin Durant that feature some unique features to the footwear.

One of which is the bottom of shoes displaying Durant's stats from the 2017 NBA Finals where he unanimous won the MVP award that placed over the all the criticism he has heard since joining the Warriors last summer.

It's quite a special touch to the shoe that both provides him with a personal touch along with throwing it back a little at the critics by highlighting his strong performance in the NBA Finals while helping lead the Warriors to an NBA title on a league record 16-1 mark in the playoffs.

Durant also became just the third player since 1969 to win the Finals MVP award joining a pair of Hall of Famers in Moses Malone and Magic Johnson. On top of that, he is just the third player to win four NBA scoring titles and an NBA title putting him in the company alongside two other Hall of Famers in Michael Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain.

It was a dominating performance that Durant was able to use as another subtle strike back at the critics while making more financial profit in the process.
