A little over a week ago Klay Thompson talked about how he believed the Golden State Warriors could run the table, and how it was important that they did.
“We’re really trying to win every game going into the playoffs. And it might be unrealistic, but it’d be nice to do that, We’re right on Houston’s heels. We got a very tight race right now. So we got to try to take the lead.”
Since that point, the Warriors haven't lost a game and Thompson was asked again but wanting to run the table after Tuesday mornings shootaround.

“We should be playing every game to try and win. It doesn't matter if rest guys or not. With the team and talent we have on this roster we should be able to compete in every game. I'm sure coach can rest guys and we try and go 82-0. If I am playing in a game, I am trying to win, that's what I meant by that.”
The Warriors play the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night and then have a back to back starting on Thursday against the San Antonio Spurs and Portland Trail Blazers, and that might be their hardest test for the rest of the season.
If they can make out of Friday night's game without a loss they really should be feeling good about their chances the rest of the season.
With the playoff race so tight too, it wouldn't be surprising if Steve Kerr doesn't rest guys as much as he has the last couple of seasons. Getting that number one seed is very important, and the Warriors will probably really fight hard for it.
