Klay Thompson has spent a good amount of his summer in China, and it was only proper that he would bring his favorite Chinese saying back to the States with him.

Having spent weeks promoting his Chinese-branded sneaker line; Anta, the Golden State Warriors shooting guard managed to find his own favorite phrase.

“My favorite saying? Ni hao (Hello). Ni hao piàoliang. (You are beautiful). Hello, you are beautiful,” Thompson told Anthony Slater of The Athletic.

It's only fitting that Thompson has such a commonplace, yet concise message to bring back to his home in the Bay Area.

Chinese is a challenging language to learn, especially for someone completing unfamiliar with it — and while we weren't expecting some of Confucius' most thought-provoking wisdom — this rather simple saying fits him to a complete tee.

Thompson spent July promoting his brand and having one of the best times celebrating his championship in another continent, missing 360 dunks in front of fans that still loved him for it — making it an experience worth repeating every offseason.
