Golden State Warriors superstar point guard Stephen Curry addressed the Draymond Green-Kevin Durant situation for the first time Saturday, and the sharpshooter said he's encouraged by how the team handled it internally.
On Monday at Staples Center against the L.A. Clippers, Draymond Green and Kevin Durant got into a heated argument on the bench, and it carried over to the postgame locker room. Green reportedly called Durant a “bit**” multiple times and challenged KD about his impending free agency.
The rift began after Green had a costly turnover versus the Clippers at the end of regulation. Durant was clapping at Green to give him the ball, but the rugged defender ignored him and dribbled the ball into traffic, resulting in a turnover. The Warriors ended up losing in overtime.
The Warriors suspended Draymond Green for one game. Kevin Durant said after the loss to the Houston Rockets on Thursday he doesn't want to talk about the incident anymore.

Stephen Curry is still out with a groin injury which he suffered against the Milwaukee Bucks. It's unknown when the two-time league MVP will return to the court, but based off the way the Warriors have been playing without their heart-and-soul, his return can't come any sooner.
