Stephen Curry had yet another dismal game shooting the ball against the Los Angeles Lakers, but the Golden State Warriors guard wasn't just misfiring from beyond the arc, but also from in close.

Curry got a hold of a steal and raced up court only to slip and fall before attempting a wide-open layup. Curry would then relocate to the left corner and toss up an airball 3-pointer to further compound the embarrassing gaffe.

When asked if he slipped on a wet spot, Curry says he didn't know but had grand plans to deliver something special for the road fans.

“I have no idea,” Curry said, according to Mark Medina of the San Jose Mercury News. “A kid walked into a candy store with the whole half court empty. I was going to try something real nice that I hadn’t tried before. The Lord wouldn’t let me do it.”

Teammate Klay Thompson has been more than just making it rain at Staples Center, but even took the chance to go for a wide-open slam to up his counter in a bet with former teammate Zaza Pachulia.

Unfortunately, that wasn't in the cards for Curry, who uses a two-feet plant to elevate for dunks — something that cost him his balance and an easy two.

Curry seldom gets the opportunity to dunk, but this one is the stuff nightmares are made of, especially when compounded by air-balling his signature corner three shot, which he's knocked down at a 65 percent clip this season.
