As the Golden State Warriors faced the Dallas Mavericks on Monday, Stephen Curry took some time out of his pre-game preparation to console Dallas Mavericks guard Devin Harris' nephew, who tragically lost his father in a car accident last week.
The two shared an intimate moment near the tunnel area as the young man was unable to hold back his emotions and broke down in tears in the Warriors star's presence.

The league is sadly is no stranger to a tragic car accident taking the life of a player’s loved one. Isaiah Thomas’ sister also passed away before the start of last season’s playoffs.
Article Continues BelowCurry isn’t a perfect human being. He’s prone to mistakes, as he showed when he flung his mouthpiece at an official, which rightly got him heavily fined.
Apart from the occasional outburst, though, Curry legitimately seems like one of the nicest guys in the NBA. He’s a man of strong faith, as well as a devoted father and family man. The image of Curry as one of the good guys should only be strengthened with the moment of compassion he shared with Harris' grieving nephew.
Curry obviously can’t bring the boy’s father back, but hopefully, his brief time with the young man helped ease his pain even in some small way.
