Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr says point guard Stephen Curry and power forward Draymond Green will play around 20 minutes in the preseason opener against the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday.

Saturday will be the first game played at the Warriors' new stadium, the Chase Center. The game will have a lot of star power in it, as Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and D'Angelo Russell will square off against LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
The Warriors already know what to expect from Curry and Green this season. The preseason is more important for the new players on the Dubs such as Russell, Omari Spellman, Glenn Robinson III and Alec Burks.
Article Continues BelowAll eyes, though, will be on Curry and Russell on Saturday. Warriors fans are eager to see how the two All-Stars will play together in the backcourt while Klay Thompson rehabs his ACL injury.
Thompson is expected to miss a big chunk of the 2019-20 season, so Curry and Russell's chemistry will have to be high for the Warriors to compete in the rugged Western Conference.
Green appears to be in really good shape. He will likely have the ball in his hands a lot more this season now that Kevin Durant is gone and Thompson is on the shelf.
