Iguodala is coming off of a season with the Heat where, although injuries sidelined him for a multitude of games, he still managed to feature in 63 games over the campaign. He did go on to post career lows in points per game (4.4) and field goal percentage (38.3 percent).

The three-time NBA champion joins a Warriors team filled with promising talents, including rookies Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody. As he noted to the New York Times, he is looking to play the role of a mentor to the Warriors' younger talents, which he often found himself doing during his previous run with the team.

Overall, Iguodala will aim to simply be a key role player off the bench for the Warriors. With the return of Klay Thompson along with a plethora of promising players, Golden State will be looking to make a dramatic return to the playoffs this upcoming season.
