Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green admitted he felt like he was on fire like his buddy Stephen Curry has been over these last couple of weeks, but in a different way. His playmaking has been key as the yin to match Curry's yang, evident with all the 19 dimes he dished out in their 118-97 win over the Denver Nuggets.
Curry, who has had plenty of out-of-body moments, acknowledged that playmakers like Green can also experience those games where they can pretty much see everything that happens on the floor. He also gave the highest compliments to Green for the masterclass performance he put in passing the ball on Friday.
“The same way you feel like the game slows down and the rim looks huge,” Curry said, “Same way I guess if you're at the top of the key or you're making those decisions with the ball in your hands and you get somebody open. On-time and on-target passes, you kind of just seeing everything a little bit better, a little bit quicker. Execute the angle of the pass, speed of the pass, timing of the pass, whatever it is — he's a master at it.”

Green had a very Draymond Green stat line in their 30th win of the season. The former Defensive Player of the Year only scored two points, but tallied 19 assists to go along with 12 rebounds.
The former Michigan State standout certainly found his rhythm in finding his teammates from all over the floor. His incredible passing display came in all forms, from finding cutters to the basket, to locating the best shooter alive for an automatic 3-pointer.
Green's scoring has dipped at this point into his career. Nevertheless, he still brings plenty of value for the Warriors with his elite playmaking, as well as outstanding defense on the other end.
