A lot of critics were quick to declare the end of the Golden State Warriors dynasty following their unexpected Finals defeat at the hands of the newly-crowned NBA champions, the Toronto Raptors.
However, Dubs superstar Stephen Curry is certainly not having any of this nonsense, as he firmly believes that this is merely a road bump for his three-time champion Warriors side.
“The story is still going,” Curry said, via USA Today. “A lot of people said this is going to be the end but I'm not going to let that happen. It's going to be fun to come back and chase more championships next year and beyond.”

Admittedly, the Warriors could not have hoped for a more terrible end to the season, as they not only failed to complete a historic three-peat, but more importantly, with two of their main guys in Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson sustaining respective long-term, career-threatening injuries.
It so happens that both players will become free agents in the summer (there is a general belief that Durant will decline his player option for the upcoming season, or at least this was the case prior to the injury), and if either or both guys decide to leave, then we will have a new-look Warriors side for next season.
However, let's not forget that they will still have their cornerstone superstar, Curry, on board, and he has proven in the past that he is more than capable of leading his side to a championship, so at the end of the day, all is definitely not lost for Golden State.
