Golden State Warriors star point guard Stephen Curry missed his first game of the season on Monday night due to a thigh bruise.
However, it appears that Curry could be in the mix once again for Thursday night's tilt on the road against the scorching-hot Boston Celtics, according to Marc J. Spears of The Undefeated.

The Warriors will likely take the precautionary route with the injury given his importance to the big picture of repeating as NBA champions. They were able to get by without him against the Orlando Magic with the rest of their roster led by Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green carrying the increased offensive load.
Although this is a primetime matchup between two of the league's top teams, Golden State has typically been keen managing their player's health in the proper manner. Curry has been the head of the snake of their offensive attack and identity of the team and losing him for an extended period of time would be detrimental to the team's title chances.
The 29-year-old is putting together another impressive season currently averaging 25.2 points on 46.7 percent shooting from the field and 38.8 percent from beyond the arc along with 6.7 assists, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.8 steals per game.
