The Golden State Warriors have had a great last couple of years, winning a championship, breaking the all-time NBA regular season wins record, and getting to two straight NBA Finals. As a result, they are doing pretty well off the court as well, to say the least.

The Bay Area organization have had an unbelievable summer so far, winning the race for prized free agent Kevin Durant to form what many have dubbed a “super team.”

Amid all the hype, team president Rick Welts has now confirmed that the demand for season tickets at Oracle Arena has risen to an all-time high, via ESPN’s Marc J. Spears.

“No one could imagine a scenario where it can raise the level,” Welts said. “But I think it has. From a business standpoint, the tickets are sold. The waiting list is over 32,000.”

It has been a rollercoaster ride for the Warriors since 2012. For perspective, the Warriors fans were booing their owner Joe Lacob when Warriors legend Chris Mullin was having his jersey retired; Mullin eventually was forced to defend Lacob. The fans booed because Lacob traded away Monta Ellis for Andrew Bogut and Stephen Jackson.

Who would have thought just a few years ago that the Warriors would get to the stage where an extra 32,000 fans would wait to be in the arena on a nightly basis? How things can change.
