The Golden State Warriors may have won by a blowout in Game 1 of the finals, 113-91, but the score alone does not reflect how good they played on Thursday.

Despite 38 points from Kevin Durant and 28 from Stephen Curry, it was how they protected the ball that’s not given enough credit, but helped them win the game in a big way. With only four turnovers on the night, the Warriors tied the all-time record for the fewest miscues in an NBA finals game, joining the 2013 San Antonio Spurs and 2005 Detroit Pistons.

If the Warriors' play in Game 1 was any indication of they’ll perform throughout the series, the Cleveland Cavaliers will definitely have their hands full the rest of the way.

Already with a high-octane offense, and with Klay Thompson continuing to struggle from the field, the Warriors have extended their playoff winning streak to 13, and proved to themselves that they can win in different ways.
