The Golden State Warriors have always had the knack for shooting three-pointers with high volume and accuracy, and the addition of Kevin Durant this year only gave them another scoring weapon to bolster their firepower.

Their high-octane offense was in full display once again Sunday night, as the Dubs blew out the Cleveland Cavaliers for the second consecutive game. Durant and Stephen Curry led the charge for their team by scoring 33 and 32 points, respectively. The reigning back-to-back MVP also finished with a triple-double while Durant missed recording one of his own by four assists.

However, what many did not notice is that they were actually able to knock down 18 three-pointers on the night, which is a new record for the most made in a finals game.

Their two top scorers had four apiece, as well as Klay Thompson. Draymond Green chipped in with three of his own, while Ian Clark and Andre Iguodala combined for three more to secure the record.

With the Warriors’ confidence skyrocketing, especially now that they are already leading 2-0, it could result to more open looks for them in the next games. It won’t even come as a surprise if they eventually surpass their own feat — making it more difficult for other teams to break it in the future.
