Following the announcement of the preseason schedule of other teams a couple of weeks ago, the Golden State Warriors have now followed suit and released their own four-game slate, via Warriors.com. However, theirs is not just any ordinary one, as it includes two matches to be played overseas.

The team will begin the series of exhibition games on September 30, when they host the Denver Nuggets inside Oracle Arena. They will then travel to China and play at the Shenzhen Universiade Center on October 4 to take on the new-look Minnesota Timberwolves, before making their way to the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai, where they will face the same Timberwolves team once again four nights after (October 8). The Dubs will wrap up their schedule at home, with a game versus the Sacramento Kings on October 13.

The preseason games will give their fans a chance to see the defending champions play for the first time since winning the title back in June, and also gauge where their players’ conditioning are at that point. The addition of Nick Young and Omri Casspi to their fold will also add to the excitement of their supporters.

Despite already winning the championship, the Warriors' front office still found a way to add a few key pieces to their intact core, which is definitely bad news for the rest of the competition. They are once again the odds-on favorites to win it all next year. It all starts with their training camp and preseason games, and if they'll do good in both of them, they'll be able to send a message to all the other contenders that they will be an even tougher team to beat.
