The final four teams in the NBA playoffs have been decided. Monday night will see the first game of the conference finals with the Warriors playing the Thunder beginning at 9:00pm (EST).

Heading into the playoffs, there was no question which team would be the odds on favorite to win the championship. The Golden State Warriors won a record-breaking 73 games this season and did not lose two games in a row throughout the entire season.

Since entering the playoffs, however, the gap appears to have closed slightly. As of just three weeks ago, the Warriors were favored with 5/4 odds while the Cavaliers were given 3/1 odds and the Thunder 10/1 odds.

Thanks to an excellent playoff run thus far, the Cavs are looking a lot better now at 7/4 odds while the Warriors are still favored at 2/3. After sweeping both of their first opponents, the Cavs have had plenty of time to rest for their next series where they will play the Toronto Raptors.

After beating the Spurs, the Thunder have also been given better chances at 7/1. They now face the Warriors in the Western Conference Finals, which is anticipated to be one of the more exciting series this year given what we saw between the two teams during the regular season.

Regardless of which team you’re rooting for, the next couple weeks of basketball are sure to provide plenty of excitement.
