The Golden State Warriors aren't anyone's Cinderella story, and they certainly don't compare to an unforeseen Loyola University Chicago, who has had an incredible run to the Final Four, becoming the surprise story of the NCAA Tournament.
Yet this team with championship pedigree seems to have its own version of Loyola's Sister Jean in Sister Regena Ross, an avid fan of Andre Iguodala's charms and interests, as well as a devoted fan of the team.
During Sunday night's broadcast of a home loss to the Utah Jazz, sideline reporter Kerith Burke noted the St. Elizabeth Middle School nun from Oakland and her appreciation for Iguodala started after she read about his interest for technology and the Silicon Valley in a Sunday paper, as a tech coordinator at the school.

The Warriors of today aren't the Cinderella story they were 12 years ago when they took down the Dallas Mavericks in 2006, but they will surely need a prayer or two, thanks to the onslaught of injuries that has plagued the team in the latter stretch of this NBA season.
Asked if she knew any prayers for a wounded team, sister Ross didn't hesitate to tell.
“I pray for them all the time,” she said. “To keep them safe and to help them reach another championship.”
Amen, sister.
