Being a rookie in the NBA is a surreal feeling for the first year players as it is the realization of a dream for them to now be playing at the highest level. However, it's also a big adjustment, with living in a new city and starting from scratch as a challenge that they will need to overcome immediately. They usually turn to their new teammates for some help, but just like how Jordan Bell broke down the Golden State Warriors' text messages to him, it proves further how difficult it is to be a rookie in a veteran team.

The 23-year-old Oregon product shared in a recent clip from The Players' Tribune, some of the messages he received from his Dubs teammates, which is mostly trolling him, or asking him to do things for them. Stephen Curry was the only one who welcomed him through text, but hilariously did not reply to him anymore after asking him a question before the season started.

If there's any good news for Bell, he has been given a lot of advice by his teammates on how to become a better player on the floor. Draymond Green has been seen on the court taking him under his wing by giving instructions during games, helping him have a deeper understanding of his role with the team. In 38 games, Bell is averaging 5.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 14.4 minutes, and has been a consistent part of Steve Kerr's rotation.

Now that the season is more than halfway done, Bell has already adjusted to the grind of being an NBA player, and will be interesting to find out how he will treat his rookie teammates in the future as a way of welcoming them to the league as well. It's going to be “payback time” for him, and will be his chance to be the one asking them to run errands for him.
