Utah Jazz rookie Donovan Mitchell scored 34 points on Wednesday's game against the Sacramento Kings. That in itself is already an impressive feat, but it's much more impressive than we think according to statistics.
According to ESPN's SportsCenter, Mitchell is the fifth-fastest to get to five 30-point games in the last 30 seasons.
Leading the record was Allen Iverson, who reached such mark in just 15 games. The next players in line are LeBron James, Blake Griffin, and Shaquille O'Neal.

It's also important to note that the top four players were all the No. 1 overall pick in their respective drafts.
Mitchell on the other hand, is the No. 13 pick of last year's draft, making this feat all that much more incredible. To say that he is in good company is an understatement in itself.

But it's not just the fans who are taking notice, even the players themselves are seeing something special in the young blood.
After a game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, LeBron James met with Mitchell near the center of the court to give him a few words of wisdom. Dwyane Wade was also there to wait for his turn to give him some proper advice.
