Los Angeles Lakers fan favorite Alex Caruso's breakaway slam in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game against the Detroit Pistons brought the fans inside Staples Center to their feet. His teammate, LeBron James, posted an image to his Instagram account to commemorate the moment.

Caruso's dunk began with the defensive play of Kyle Kuzma, who stole the ball near the top of the key on the other end of the floor. Kuzma pushed the ball ahead to Caruso, who was already breaking down the court in transition.
Caruso beat everyone down the floor and proceed to send home a flashy two-handed slam. James, a player known for his chase-down blocks, was trailing just behind. As Caruso rose up, a couple of his teammates went up with him, including James and Dwight Howard.

The Lakers went up 88-79 with Caruso's dunk. “The Bald Mamba,” as he's come to be known, finished with 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting from the field, three assists, three rebounds, and two steals. James had 21 points, 14 rebounds, and 11 assists — the 90th triple-double of his career and ninth of this season. Anthony Davis had eight of Los Angeles' 20 blocked shots.
Los Angeles extended their winning streak to five games with Sunday's victory. They'll look to keep their momentum rolling on Tuesday night, when they'll serve as hosts to the New York Knicks.
