Memphis Grizzlies first-year point guard Ja Morant is in line to win Rookie of the Year no matter what happens with the remainder of this NBA season. The Grizzlies phenom is obviously nowhere close to Chicago Bulls Hall of Fame shooting guard Michael Jordan's greatness, though, and ESPN's recent 10-part docuseries airing of “The Last Dance” helped changed the 20-year-old guard's perception of who the GOAT is.
Via Bleacher Report's Taylor Rooks:
“I haven't seen Jordan play in person other than highlights. You know, ‘The Last Dance' actually gave me an opportunity to see how [Jordan] actually was, how he played, his mindset. … I think he's the GOAT.”
What effect did the Last Dance documentary have on Gen Z??? Well for @jamorant it changed his mind on who is the GOAT. What are your thoughts? Did it change yours?? pic.twitter.com/e0FLmFj0JG

The young Grizzlies star previously saw Los Angeles Lakers star forward LeBron James as the greatest basketball player of all time before viewing the ESPN documentary chronicling the 1997-98 Bulls and their quest for a second three-peat, which invariably went back and recounted all of the dynasty years in Chicago.
James still has an uphill battle to go before winning a majority of support as the GOAT. A three-time NBA champion, James is 3-6 in his Finals appearances while Jordan was a perfect 6-0.
