After his recent trade request, it appears that Minnesota Timberwolves want-away star Jimmy Butler intends to force his way out of Minnesota.
The 29-year-old just recently shared a cryptic post on his Instagram account that is considered by many as his most clear cut indication of his strong desire to jump ship.

The most prominent figure in the photo is Butler himself holding a phone against his ear, obviously speaking to someone on the other end of the line. Based on the caption he accompanied the image with, the 6-foot-8 swingman appears to be implying that he is hearing, and is listening to the offers that are coming his way in terms of his next team.

The fact that Butler has his feet on the table seems to indicate that he is cool, calm, and collected about all this drama. The two-time All-NBA team member is confident of his talent, and is not worried about finding avid suitors for his services.
There is also somewhat of an Easter egg — if you may call it that — hidden in plain sight. The framed jersey on the wall looks like Butler's old uniform from his time with the Chicago Bulls. Is he implying here that he is open to a return to Chicago? He did not exactly part ways with the team in the most amicable way, so it would be surprising if the Bulls actually make a move.
Finally, the widely opened door may be construed as a metaphor to Butler's imminent exit. In the photo, the door is left wide open for him to leave, so we should find out within the next couple of days if the same holds true in real life.
