Minnesota Timberwolves guard Jimmy Butler is clearly taking advantage of his free time this offseason. When he’s not hiking mountains and hugging trees, he is out there chilling with his girlfriend in a romantic gondola ride. There’s just one thing to note here, however. That girlfriend simply does not exist – at least physically.

Butler surely could use some relaxation, especially after a tough 2017-18 season with the Timberwolves. Although Minnesota managed to get into the playoffs this year for the first time since 2004, they did not last long as they got taken out of the first round by the Houston Rockets, four games to one. Butler also had to miss plenty of games because of a meniscus tear in his knee that needed surgery. In 59 games for the Timberwolves last season, Butler averaged 22.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game while also shooting 47.4 percent from the field and 35.0 percent from behind the arc.

We’re not here to judge Butler and his love life, but we’re also not going to pretend as though he was the first athlete to have an invisi-bae. Right, Manti Te’o?
