The New York Knicks are not playing to what many people expected them to so far this season as they are currently 21-21 and hold the 10th seed in the Eastern Conference.
The front office did not do a great job last offseason and they brought in a few players on some questionable contracts that have certainly not panned out to what the Knicks fan base and front office were hoping for.
Just like every team in the NBA, there's always going to be questions about a team. Those questions are going to become more prevalent when you are a team like the New York Knicks and play in front of the most passionate fans in all of sports.

Knicks Questions 2022
3. Can Cam Reddish come in and be elite?
The Knicks decided to bring in Cam Reddish on a great deal with the Atlanta Hawks. He has proven throughout his young career that he is an elite defender and can also be a guy who comes in and scores the basketball at a high level. He is 6 foot 8 with a 7 foot 1 wing span and essentially everything that an NBA team would want. It was very questionable why the Hawks decided to get rid of him, but it's only good news for the Knicks. If he can come in and be that elite defensive guy for this team while also being able to score the basketball, things are going to be much easier for this Knicks team.
He doesn't need to come in and be some All-Star type of talent but he does need to come in and be the guy that he can be. If the Knicks can get Cam Reddish to be a guy who can defend at a high-level while also scoring 15 plus points per night, this was a perfect move for them.
Article Continues Below2. Who is going to be traded?
Since it seems inevitable that the Knicks are going to make a move, there has to be some talks about who they are going to trade. Is it going to be a guy like Obi Toppin, RJ Barrett, Immanuel Quickley, or someone else?
Those are definitely the guys that most teams are going to want to get back but the Knicks are going to have to make a tough decision on who they do decide to get rid of.
It wouldn't be the craziest thing for them to get rid of one of these three guys because they desperately need that star player back and those three players at the moment are not that guy. If the Knicks can somehow make a move where they don't have to give up one of these three guys, they need to do everything in their power to get that deal done.
1. What big-name star is coming to Madison Square Garden?
This is going to be the biggest question about this Knicks team because it's what they need most. If they do not go out and get that star player, they're once again not going to find success in the playoffs. This isn't necessarily a bad thing because the Knicks have certainly been playing better the past two years than many people expected them to. The reality of the situation is that once the New York Knicks start finding any bit of success, Knicks fans are going to be going crazy at Madison Square Garden and wanting this team to get the job finished.
Every year that the Knicks do not win an NBA title is certainly a disappointment because they are one of the most storied franchises in all of basketball. They haven't found much success in the past decade but that could change if they do bring in a guy who can come in and can score 25-plus points a night and run an offense.
With all the options that are going to be out there at the deadline, it will be interesting to see who the Knicks decide to go after. They could decide to go after a guy like De'Aaron Fox, hopefully for Knicks fans a guy like Damian Lillard, and a few other guys who are definitely going to be traded come trade deadline time.
If the Knicks are going to want to find any success in the near future, this has to be their biggest question and the front office needs to get the job done.
