New York Knicks president Steve Mills and general manager Scott Perry reportedly fully expect to get a free agent meeting with Kawhi Leonard this summer, according to Marc Berman of the New York Post.

The Knicks have been heavily linked to Boston Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving and Golden State Warriors small forward Kevin Durant. However, it looks like New York's brass, led by Mills and Perry, are enamored with Leonard as well.

The Knicks have been a walking disaster for years. The last big-time free agent they signed was back in 2010, when they got Amar'e Stoudemire after striking out with LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.

If Steve Mills and Scott Perry can sign Kawhi Leonard, who has been rumored to either re-sign with the Raptors on a short term deal or take his talents to the Los Angeles Clippers, New Yorkers might actually throw a parade in celebration.
