It seems that as every week passes, another Jahlil Okafor trade rumor arises.
His team, the Philadelphia 76ers, are seemingly coming to the end of ‘the process’ put into place by members of the back room staff, primarily former general manager Sam Hinkie.
The organization has gathered numerous assets, loading their team with young talent in the form of 2016 #1 pick Ben Simmons, Croatian forward Dario Saric, recovering center Joel Embiid, Duke stand-out Okafor, and more. If the rumors are to be believed, the Sixers are ready to cash in on some of those assets in order to gain more established leaders.
While Okafor is an intriguing option for many teams and the Boston Celtics have reportedly inquired about him, the skilled big man doesn’t appear to be happy with the constant speculation. He took to his Twitter page to vent his frustration.
One second I'm reportedly upset to be in Philly, then the next I'm upset about trade rumors and having to leave Philly.

With all that being said. I love where I am, and I am excited about this upcoming season. Big season for us! #Philly

Obviously, the reality of being a player in the NBA is that being traded is beyond your control; it’s simply business, and trade rumors are bound to happen. Okafor’s frustration is understandable, as he may be happy in The City Of Brotherly Love, but this kind of outburst most likely will not help his reputation of having a fairly unpredictable personality.
