The Minnesota Timberwolves will have both Karl-Anthony Towns and Jimmy Butler play in the NBA All-Star Game. But they may not be playing on the same team because Stephen Curry and LeBron James will pick teams as captains of each conference.
It's still very possible that Towns and Butler play on the same team. But Towns believes that will not happen, per Nick Friedell of ESPN.

I'd have a blast with that one. That's the only thing I'm making as a first-year pick, if Jimmy gets the ball, he's on the other side, I want to guard him.”
Towns and Butler have spent a lot of time together as members of the Timberwolves. It stands to reason that there have been at least a few moments during practice that they two have been matched up against each other.
But the fact that Towns actually wants to guard Butler as a members of opposite teams speaks to not only the competitiveness of Towns, but also that Towns likes to have fun with the game. There has been a lot written about the NBA not making the picks public or televising the draft, and if that happened, the fans would be able to see the reaction of Towns and Butler if they get picked to different teams.
It would make for a better game of Towns and Butler end up on opposite teams. Who blocks who first?
