Bradley Beal has been the definition of loyal during his time with the Washington Wizards. While he's constantly denied the possibility of asking for a trade, it's now became known that the All-Star is starting to consider it.

According to Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report, Beal could be making a big decision on his future prior to the 2021 NBA Draft next Thursday:

“He knows he has to make a decision before the draft,” one source with direct knowledge of Beal's thinking told Bleacher Report. For the past year, people familiar with Beal's dedicated relationship to the Wizards have consistently rebuffed the notion he had interest in playing elsewhere. Yet a second source close to Bradley Beal, when contacted by B/R, confirmed the situation is now fluid.

At 28-years-old, there is still time for Beal to compete for a championship. That's simply just not going to happen in Washington right now. He's spent his entire nine-year career in DC and has given everything to this organization.

If Bradley Beal does indeed become available, there will be no shortage of options. The Golden State Warriors are at the top of the list because they have a ton of assets and two first-round picks in the draft. However, recent reports say it's unlikely they trade those draft picks next Thursday. The Toronto Raptors are another option, who have a lottery pick and numerous players they could offer to the Wizards.

According to one GM in the league, Bradley Beal is “the guy right now” and “Could be the one guy available who can help a team win it all”. He will obviously want to land in a winning environment, which is definitely going to rule out some teams.

Nevertheless, it's going to be very interesting to see what happens with this Bradley Beal situation in the coming days.
