The New York Giants have plenty of options at their disposal in the 2022 NFL Draft. Armed with two picks inside the top-10, the Giants are poised to add two very capable prospects. Or general manager Joe Schoen can use one of the picks to trade with a quarterback-needy team or franchise with their sights set on a top-10 prospect. The possibility of adding extra draft capital in future years could be one that is hard to resist for Schoen, who has preached about building through the draft. With needs on the offensive line, the defensive line and in the secondary, the Giants have plenty of areas that they need to address. Schoen has remained open to every possibility- and there's no telling how he'll handle his first draft as a general manager. That said, here are three bold predictions for the Giants in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Giants Predictions For The 2022 NFL Draft

3. The Giants select offensive linemen in the first two rounds

There's no denying that the Giants offensive line needs to improve. New York fans have been told that for several years now, as former general manager Dave Gettleman addressed that during his introductory press conference, then failed to do what he said. With talented offensive lineman up and down the board, Schoen will make it a point to select linemen in the first two rounds. The Giants will draft Alabama offensive tackle Evan Neal inside the top-10, then select either guard Kenyon Green or center Tyler Linderbaum in the second round.

2. James Bradberry is dealt on Draft day

With a bevy of teams lining up to address their needs at the cornerback spot, what better time for the Giants to listen to offers for corner James Bradberry than on the day of the NFL Draft? There are plenty of talented prospects, such as Sauce Gardner, who is a projected top-10 pick and one who has been linked to New York. However, there is a bit of a drop-off from Gardner to other prospects, such as Derek Stingley Jr. and Andrew Booth Jr. Perhaps some teams would rather opt for more of a sure thing in Bradberry. If Schoen can nab an extra pick on the day of the draft in exchange for Bradberry, that would be a big win for New York.

1. The Giants trade down and get an extra first-round pick in 2023

The Giants will execute a massive NFL Draft day blockbuster with teams angling to get within the top-10 picks, such as the New Orleans Saints, Baltimore Ravens or Seattle Seahawks. The Giants utilize their fifth pick to select Neal, then move back inside the top-20 while securing an extra first-rounder in next year's draft. With their 2022 first rounder that they acquire, New York can ether look to fill the void left behind by Bradberry or look to select a pass-rushing prospect. Then, much like the Philadelphia Eagles did in their recent draft pick trade, the Giants are set up nicely in next year's draft, thought to be a good one for quarterback prospects, if things don't work out with Daniel Jones in 2022.
