This is the annual time for fans and scouts to overevaluate incoming prospect measurements at the NFL combine, but that didn't prevent Joe Burrow from poking fun. After his measurements surfaced, Burrow hilariously announced that he's considering retirement.
Considering retirement after I was informed the football will be slipping out of my tiny hands. Please keep me in your thoughts.

On Monday morning, all of the quarterbacks invited to the NFL combine received measurements for their hands. While some quarterbacks received positive reviews for their hand size, Joe Burrow raised concerns for some people.
It was revealed that Joe Burrow had nine-inch hands. Among quarterbacks in the NFL, that is considered small; his hand size could cause him to struggle to hold onto the football. Therefore, the LSU quarterback made light of the situation by saying that he's going to retire from the NFL already.
In his final season in college, Burrow didn't have any trouble throwing the football with his tiny hands. The redshirt senior put together one of the best seasons from a quarterback in college football history. As LSU was crowned National Champions, Joe Burrow finished with 5,671 yards, 60 touchdowns, and only six interceptions.
Due to his strong showing this season, Joe Burrow has been considered the presumptive No. 1 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. However, with him possibly going to the Cincinnati Bengals, some are of the belief that he'll struggle with fumbles in colder weather because of his smaller hands.
In recent seasons, there have been multiple quarterbacks criticized for the size of their hands. Surprisingly enough, there haven't been any quarterbacks that have failed in the NFL due to their hand size. Provided that, Joe Burrow's career can be salvaged despite him contemplating retirement.
