NFL Draft: The Pick Is In Season 2 has dropped and gives a look at the Los Angeles Rams‘ draft house.
In a new clip broken exclusively by ClutchPoints, a behind-the-scenes look at the Rams' draft house. The clip begins with an aerial shot of the beach party as the NFL Draft goes on.
A voiceover from Les Snead, the team's General Manager, credits the team's marketing team with coming up with the idea to relocate for the draft. A montage plays that shows off the mansion and it being decorated with various Rams memorabilia.
“Our marketing department, they've done a great job of going, ‘Let's [not] draft at our facility,” he began. “What we try to do is take the draft to different parts of LA.”
The backdrop features the Pacific Ocean in the background which brings a “different vibe, different energy to the process.”
Los Angeles Rams' 2024 NFL Draft picks
Unlike most seasons, the Rams had a first-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. They are known for trading them away. Their most recent first-round pick was in 2016 when they selected Jared Goff (he is now on the Detroit Lions).
With that pick, the Rams selected Jared Verse, a defensive end from Florida State. They held the nineteenth pick in the first round. The team hopes that Verse fills in the hole left by the recently retired Aaron Donald.
In the second round, the Rams selected another defensive lineman. This time, they picked defensive tackle Braden Fiske, a teammate of Verse's at Florida State.
Before going back to defense, the Rams selected Michigan running back Blake Corum in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft. Miami safety Kamren Kinchens, defensive end Brennan Jackson, defensive tackle Tyler Davis, kicker Joshua Karty, wide receiver Jordan Whittington, center Beaux Limmer, and guard KT Leveston followed.
The Rams had plenty of compensatory picks in this draft. Five of their 10 selections were compensatory picks. Additionally, they had a second-round pick thanks to a trade from the Carolina Panthers via the New York Giants.

NFL Draft: The Pick Is In is a documentary series from The Roku Channel. It chronicles the 2024 draft, giving behind-the-scenes access to the draft rooms of the Chicago Bears, Washington Commanders, Arizona Cardinals, and Los Angeles Rams.
After a successful first season that chronicled the 2023 NFL Draft, The Roku Channel made a second. NFL Network talent such as Rich Eisen, Kaylee Hartung, and Ian Rapoport are featured in the documentary. Commissioner Roger Goodell is also featured in it.
