Free agent wide receiver Dez Bryant is hoping to make a comeback in the NFL. But while his chances remain lukewarm, the outspoken star is making his presence felt off the field.

When he's not busy watching the US Open, Bryant spends his time sharing his thoughts on social media about a wide range of topics, including NFTs.

These days, more and more NFL players are signing exclusive deals with NFT companies, jumping on the cryptocurrency craze in hopes of maximizing their popularity. But for the 32-year-old Bryant, who played for the Baltimore Ravens last season, NFL players should be owning themselves, bluntly calling NFT contracts “dumb s***.”

But the three-time Pro Bowler wasn't done. Bryant blasted his colleagues for signing wrong endorsement deals that take money from them. While he's had controversial statements in the past, especially during his tenure with the Dallas Cowboys, his latest tirade seems to be coming from a good place.

NFL stars like Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rob Gronkowski have recently ventured into NFTs with huge deals. Last March, Los Angeles Rams safety Taylor Rapp launched his NFT in hopes of creating more awareness on racism.

According to reports, NFTs are also entering the NHL and UFC soon, which should not make Bryant too happy.

What could make him happy is getting a roster spot. Dez Bryant recently vowed to continue to grind the honest way as he aims to make it back to the NFL.
