The Los Angeles Rams and the Los Angeles Chargers have a new home starting in 2020. SoFi Stadium is highly regarded, everyone seems to love the new spot and can't wait to see how it operates on game days.

However, it appears we will have to wait a little longer to see what SoFi will look like with fans in it.

According to both the Rams and the Chargers on Twitter, there will be no fans in SoFi stadium until further notice. Of course, this is due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Many teams around the NFL are being extremely cautious and going with this same route as the Rams and Chargers. While some seem to be optimistic that fans will be allowed to attend games this season, others appear to be going the other way.

While they may not be totally pessimistic about the situation, it seems they don't want to get up their hopes or the hopes of their fans too much.

The Rams and Chargers had some of the highest incentives to allow fans at their games in 2020. SoFi Stadium seemed to be a fantastic attraction. One that would bring in tons of fans who not only want to see their favorite team play, but experience a new stadium as well.

It is important to note that this is not the two teams conceding the entire 2020 season. They made a point to put “until further notice” in their release. That means that they could still have fans in attendance at some point this season.

For now though, SoFi Stadium will be hosting its first few games without anyone in the stands. It is going to be a weird sight, but one we might be seeing for quite some time.

So everyone might as well get accustomed to it now, hopefully it is not something that will be around for too long.
