Week 12 of the NFL will showcase this fantastic NFC matchup to pay attention to. The Los Angeles Rams take on the Green Bay Packers in what should be the game of the week. It's time to continue our NFL odds series with a Rams-Packers prediction and pick based on Rams Packers odds.
The LA Rams are one of the better teams in the NFL this year but lost a bad game to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 10. In the first game with Odell Beckham Jr., the offense couldn't find a rhythm at all. With a bye week now in the rear-view mirror, the Rams offense should be a lot better now. They already contain one of the top defenses in the league and that will have a major aspect in the game on Sunday.

The Packers are coming off a loss to the rising Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. That game was a shoot-out from start to finish and the Packers were very close to a comeback victory. They instead settle for their third loss of the season but are still one of the top seeds in the NFC. The world is very excited to see Aaron Rodgers go up against Matt Stafford once again, but this time with Stafford in a new uniform.

Why The Rams Could Cover The Spread
The Rams are the favorite on the road in Week 12. This is a bit of a surprise even though many feel the Rams are the better team. On paper, the Rams display one of the greatest rosters in the entire league, if not the best. The Rams defense will be the deciding factor in this game. The Packers are missing crucial offensive linemen and the Rams defensive line is near the top of the league. If the Rams can get to Rodgers then it will be a long game for the 2020 MVP.
Matt Stafford will need a bounceback game but this is also a tough one to do so. Without Robert Woods for the rest of the year, he will need to find a way to get Odell Beckham the ball. Cooper Kupp is dominating this year but he can't do it all himself. Maybe this will be the game where we see Beckham break out in LA.
Why The Packers Could Cover The Spread
A must-see matchup to watch on Sunday is Davante Adams going up against Jalen Ramsey. Many believe those are the top at their position and one that should create a ton of drama. There is also Aaron Donald going up against Aaron Rodgers which should be one to pay attention to as well. There is a lot of star power in this game and they all should contribute one way or another.
The Rams have lost their last two games and haven't won in three weeks. The Packers need to take advantage of that and find a way to win at home. I'm a bit surprised to see the Rams favored in Green Bay but either way, it's going to be a close game regardless. These two teams could play each other every game for the rest of the year and it would provide different results. Both of these teams are well-coached and will be in the think of things come playoff time.

This is a tough one to predict. Because the Packers are the underdogs at home, I'm going with the Packers on Sunday. I think the weather might be an issue for the Rams because they are used to playing in a closed dome in LA. It's not going to seriously hurt them by any means but I think the Packers will be unbothered by the chilly weather. It's going to be a battle from start to finish and the Packers should find a way to win at home.
