The Chicago Bears are preparing for what should be a testy week 18 matchup against their rival Green Bay Packers. With the Bears clinching the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, it could be Justin Fields' final game in Chicago.

However, Chicago has not made a final decision on Fields' future, via Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. The Bears will evaluate all of the college quarterbacks in the 2024 draft. Furthermore, they will examine the financial ramifications of trading vs. holding onto Fields.

Overall, to keep or trade Fields will be arguably the biggest storyline entering the Bears' offseason.

Against the Packers in Week 18, Fields will have a strong opportunity to prove why he deserves to remain the QB1. He has gone 0-5 as a starter against Green Bay up to this point in his career. The Packers clinch a spot in the playoffs with a win over the Bears. In turn, Fields and company can end their arch rival's season with a victory.

Fields enters the contest with a 5-7 record over the 12 games he has started this season. He has thrown for 2,414 yards, 16 touchdowns and nine interceptions. Fields has added another 630 yards and four scores on the ground.

The Bears have a major decision to make with the No. 1 overall pick. With Justin Fields, Chicago can continue to build around their quarterback and fill other holes on the roster. If they take a QB at No.1, the Bears will mold their franchise vision to whoever they select.

Whatever the decision may be, Chicago has yet to make it. If Fields can take down the Packers in Week 18, that odds would begin weighing in the incumbent's favor.
