The Chicago Bears' quarterback situation has been their main focus so far this off-season and their options have been dwindling.

Rumors have surfaced that the Bears reportedly plan to end the Mitchell Tribusky era in Chicago and will look elsewhere for a franchise quarterback. Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson remains one of their top priorities should he become available. However, acquiring the 8-time Pro-Bowler will come at a huge cost.

Via Brad Biggs of The Chicago Tribune:

The Bears would love to swing a huge deal to land Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, but layers of factors complicate that dream acquisition, starting with the exorbitant cost that would be required to trade for him and what quarterback the Seahawks could get to replace him and remain a perennial playoff contender.

With Ryan Fitzpatrick going to the Washington Football Team this off-season on a one-year deal, Biggs speculated that Dallas Cowboys quarterback Andy Dalton could be the next chip to fall. There are rumors that Dalton could eventually fall into the laps of the Chicago Bears.

Wilson is obviously the big fish, but there is a lot of belief around the league that the 32-year old will stick around in Seattle. If the Bears or other potential suitors want to get their hands on the former Super Bowl champ, they reportedly would have to act quick and begin discussions with the Seahawks as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, Dalton started nine games for Dallas last season, but didn't particularly put up standout numbers. Nevertheless, he should still be an upgrade for them at that position.

If Chicago loses Tribusky this off-season, they would only have Nick Foles as their lone quarterback under contract. The options are certainly wearing thin for the Bears.
