Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys had a wild night after tying 40-40 with Micah Parsons and the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night.

The matchup was one to marvel at, seeing numerous offensive highlights as both squads traded touchdowns on both sides of the field. It was also a reunion game between Jones' Cowboys and Parsons, the latter who highlighted the team's defense for four years before Dallas sent him to Green Bay this past offseason.

Jones reflected on the tie after the game, per reporter Lindsey Thiry. When media asked him about Parsons' return to Dallas and how he played, the Cowboys' owner and general manager made his thoughts very clear on the star defender.

“He’s an outstanding man who played well tonight and we played well tonight,” Jones said.

Dallas missed star receiver CeeDee Lamb, who suffered an ankle injury and will miss 2-4 weeks. As a result, Dak Prescott needed to rely on other receivers to step up and make big plays. Luckily for him, that came to full fruition.

Prescott had an excellent night commanding the offense as he didn't throw any interceptions or committed a fumble. He completed 31 passes out of 40 attempts for 319 yards and three touchdowns.

The run game had its moments in the matchup. Javonte Williams had 20 of the team's 26 carries for 85 yards and a touchdown.

The air game was where Dallas did its most damage. George Pickens had his best night to date with Dallas, recording eight receptions for 134 yards and two touchdowns. Jake Ferguson came next with seven catches for 40 yards and a touchdown and Jalen Tolbert had four receptions for 61 yards. Meanwhile, Kavontae Turpin caught three passes for 30 yards.

The Cowboys will prepare for their next matchup, being on the road. They face the New York Jets on Oct. 5 at 1 p.m. ET.
