Barring an unforeseen change in circumstances, Chris Harris Jr. will not be returning to the Denver Broncos, which means that the cornerback will get to test the free-agent market.
Harris is excited about the opportunity to actually feel wanted, which is something he never really experienced in high school or college:
“Oh yeah, I didn’t get recruited in high school. I didn’t have a lot of teams coming at me out of college. I didn’t get drafted. Now, to have multiple teams hit me up, it definitely feels good,” Harris said, according to Arnie Stapleton of The Associated Press.
Now, Harris will be one of the top defensive backs available, so he will certainly have his fair share of potential suitors once free agency opens up on Wednesday.

He went on to play in every game during his rookie campaign, finishing with 71 tackles, an interception, a fumble recovery and six passes defended, and by his second season, Harris was a full-time starter.
It didn't take long for Harris to establish himself as one of the NFL's best cornerbacks, as he made the Pro Bowl as soon as his fourth year in the league after totaling 55 tackles, a sack, three picks, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and 17 passes defended.
That began a stretch of four straight Pro Bowl appearances for Harris, culminating in a First-Team All-Pro selection in 2016. The Bixby, Ok. native then earned another trip to the Pro Bowl in 2018.
